The ErgoMove business unit celebrates its 5th anniversary
Blickle has been working intensively on electric drive systems since 2015. Based on the clear conviction that ergonomic working, safety and efficiency are becoming increasingly important in internal logistics, the company launched its first development projects. In order to provide the right framework for these, the ErgoMove business unit was founded in 2020 under the motto: "Safety from the world market leader – with all the expertise of Blickle."
What began as a small team is now an independent business unit with 23 dedicated specialists. Together with renowned institutes and partners, we are working on a clear mission: more ergonomics in everyday working life.
The impressive development of the past five years shows that this approach has paid off: more than 3,000 ErgoMove systems are now in use worldwide – in a wide variety of sectors, from industry and production to healthcare and logistics. Wherever heavy loads need to be moved, ErgoMove ensures greater safety and comfort.
The product range has also developed rapidly. What once began with the first Electric Drive System is now a comprehensive modular system consisting of seven powerful series. These cover a range from 500 to 4,000 kilograms and offer the right solution for almost every requirement. ErgoMove is therefore the answer to a wide range of logistical challenges where conventional aids reach their limits – and has established itself as a driver of innovation within the Blickle world.

"Blickle is fully behind ErgoMove. We are proud of the team's performance – and convinced that ErgoMove is the ideal addition to the range. Because ErgoMove comes into its own where normal wheels and castors reach their limits."
– David Blickle, Managing Director –
Under the leadership of Martin Wiest, the business unit has developed very positively in recent years. The close trust and strong support from Blickle, which acts as a driver of our growth, has played a decisive role in this. "The structure of our unit allows us to respond with extreme agility to customer requests. The compact size of the team in particular ensures that decisions can be made quickly – an advantage that directly benefits our customers.
