ErgoMove operating concepts
It just works. And well.
Safe handling and intuitive operation - these are the hallmarks of the sophisticated ErgoMove operating concepts. They were developed in collaboration with renowned universities such as the University of Stuttgart, Saarland University and Heilbronn University. High-quality materials and components ensure robustness and guarantee trouble-free operation. All operating concepts can be easily adapted to existing machines and devices.
The elements
- A cockpit that summarizes all important functions and information for the user
- Control elements that enable optimum ergonomic use and intuitive operation
- A control unit that forms the control center for ErgoMove with the ErgoMove software
- A rechargeable battery unit consisting of tried and tested industrial batteries
Safety
A comprehensive safety concept, as used for pedestrian-controlled industrial trucks, helps to effectively minimize the risk of accidents.
- Emergency stop with emergency stop function
- Brake release via sensor hand detection as protection against uncontrolled movement
- Key switch as protection against unauthorized starting
- Horn as an acoustic warning device
- Anti-trap protection
- Motor brake and electromechanical dead man's brake brake to a standstill when released
- Electromechanical dead man's brakes as parking brakes
Compact operating concept
for the ErgoMove 500 and ErgoBoost series
This operating concept is characterized by its particularly compact design and can therefore be easily integrated into existing appliances and machines.
- Intuitive driving and steering thanks to integrated force sensors
- Button for differential lock when driving straight ahead
- Available in different lengths
- Forward and reverse speed 5 km/h
- Automatic detection of one/two-hand operation
- Only available for ErgoMove 500
- Simple and precise operation
- Ideal for longer straight runs, rail applications or applications with insufficient stability of the trolley for the sensor handle
- Available as left or right handle variant
- Speeds: ErgoMove 500: forwards and backwards 5 km/h; ErgoBoost: forwards and backwards 3 km/h
Supply unit
- 2 battery holders included
- Safety Box variant: Emergency stop in accordance with the Machinery Directive and key switch to enable operation
- The ErgoBoost series is powered by a single exchangeable battery connected to a battery holder
Saftey Box Mounting instructions
- Sensor handle and rotary encoder variant: Pre-assembled cables (3 m each) to the drive rollers and the cockpit
- Sensor handle variant: Optionally available without pre-mounted bracket
- Rotary encoder variant: Screw-on plate for mounting (clamps for tube mounting optionally available)
Ergonomic cockpit operating concept
for the ErgoMove 1000, 1000T and 2000P series
This operating concept is characterized by its very comprehensive safety technology and intuitive operation, thus enabling maximum ease of use.
- Particularly intuitive operation thanks to integrated force sensors
- The slightest force exerted by the operator on the cockpit is detected and transferred to the drive rollers
- Steering assistance in one- or two-handed operation
- Automatic detection of one/two-handed operation
- Operation via rotary encoder
- Precise maneuvering in two-hand operation, straight-ahead travel in one-hand operation
- Ideal for longer straight-ahead travel and rail applications
- Automatic detection of one/two-handed operation
- Plug-in cockpit unit (EM-EG-SM) with the option of operating several trolleys with just one cockpit
- High-quality plug-in connection with locking bracket on the plug-in adapter (including plastic cover)
- Reduction in ErgoMove investment costs by using one cockpit for several trolley frames (cost advantage from 3 systems)
- Optionally available as a variant with two rotary encoders (EM-2FG-SM)
Integrated into the cockpit:
- Control unit and two battery holders
- Pre-assembled cables (3 m each) to the drive rollers
- Anti-trap protection via force sensor or mushroom button
Mounting instructions
- Ergonomics cockpit variant with force sensors: Mounted directly on the application using a screw connection or on the carriage using a central adapter tube (optionally available)
- Ergonomics cockpit variant with two rotary encoders: Mounting on existing trolley tubes using clamps
Flex operating concept
for the ErgoMove 2000, 2000T and 4000 series
This operating concept is characterized by its high robustness and high mechanical customizability and can therefore also be used flexibly in very special applications.
- Simple operation (without steering assistance)
- Ideal for longer straight runs and rail applications
- Operating mode I: EM2000: forwards 2 km/h - backwards 2 km/h
- Operating mode II: EM2000: forwards 4 km/h - backwards 2 km/h
- Simple operation including steering assistance
- Small turning radius due to differential control
- One or two-hand operation selectable
- EM2000 / EM2000T – Operating mode I: Motors are controlled synchronously forwards 4 km/h - backwards 2 km/h, Operating mode II: Motors are controlled individually (precise maneuvering) forwards and backwards 2 km/h
- EM4000: The right joystick is used for forwards / backwards motion, the left joystick steers the ErgoMove to the left or right Operating mode I: forwards and backwards 1 km/h, Operating mode II: forwards and backwards 2 km/h
- Wired cockpit for challenging visibility conditions
- Enables a better view of the application and the route while driving
- Carrying strap for better handling of the cockpit (on request)
- EM4000: The right joystick is used for forwards / backwards motion, the left joystick steers the ErgoMove to the left or right Operating mode I: forwards and backwards 1 km/h, Operating mode II: forwards and backwards 2 km/h
- Only available for ErgoMove 4000
