An international manufacturer of precision components for metalworking faced the challenge of changing heavy tools efficiently and precisely in its production process.

During tool changes, large and heavy tools must be positioned securely and with millimetre precision on machines. The tool-changing trolleys used are usually custom-designed, correspondingly large and heavy, and are frequently deployed in confined production areas.
